This directory is not a complete list of rat rescues in the U.S. If you see a rat rescue on this list you have had a bad experience with, please report it to me as I only want to suggest rescues who are doing their best to give rats a new lease on life! On the other hand, if you know a great rescue and they are not listed below, please let me know! I strongly support animal rescue and would be happy to add them to the list.

Alaska is not included in the directory as rats are not legal to own in this state.
